Now that we are home from our vacation, I wanted to take a minute to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Cross River Cabins. After we left you guys, we spent some time in Yoho, three nights up in Jasper, as well as some time in Banff and Waterton. And without a doubt, Sue and I both feel that our stay with you was the most relaxing, and the hikes we went on were some of the most spectacular. The ability to get out in the wilderness, without a lot of people, was really special. We've decided that on our next trip out your way, now that we have a taste of all of the parks in your area, that we will definitely spend more time at Cross River Cabins. Again, thanks for a wonderful stay. We look forward to seeing you again in the future!

We had a great time. Our hiking group has been visiting backcountry lodges for 7 years now. We have been to Shadow Lake, Skoki, Assiniboine, Tonquin Valley and others but the combination of hospitality, accommodations and setting was never as good as it was at Cross River Cabins. We plan to visit you again with our family soon.

We all had a wonderful time at Cross River Cabins, in the mountains, on the trails, and on, in and around the rivers. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with you and your family and we have been telling all our friends and family about your amazing cabins, managed by your amazing family, in the amazing Rocky Mountains. (You should expect a large increase of hits on your website from the Madison area! ) We plan to come again soon, despite the 1650 mile drive. Thanks again for a wonderful experience. First of all we want to thank you for your hospitality and our wonderful stay in early August. It was a GREAT week! The facilities are fantastic and Marilyn's artistic flare shows everywhere. Reading through the comments written by guests over the years was very revealing. For many, it was their first contact with "wilderness" and they were deeply touched by the experience. For others, the experience was a reawakening of their connection with nature and a spiritual experience to a natural world they never knew existed. All were touched by it. Hopefully each will take their individual experiences home with them and that it will colour how they experience and value the world around and beyond them. Mother Earth needs all the love and support she can get! The biologist in me greatly enjoyed the hummingbirds and the elk. The elk watching from the patio was for Jonathan the equivalent to my experience in Treetops in East Africa. Thank you again for a wonderful experience and holiday. May He grant you good health and continue to bless you in your efforts.
